These computers will be used for children with fine motor problems as with athetoid Cerebral Palsy learners. We also have muscular dystrophy learners who have muscle weakness to can handle a pen. Some children are cognitively low and as a result they may have special programmes on computer software that can benefit them.

Many of our learners with communication problems especially those who are non-verbal use non-dedicated software material such as “writing with pictures to help them with interaction with their teachers or even with their peer.”

(a) Rollers

• Walking frames with two (2) front wheels
• for learners on rehabilitation who are possible workers
• Learners with poor dynamic balance

(b) Standing frames

• Fully height adjustable prone upright stander and supine
• Sizes 2 – 6 years small x 1
• Sizes 5 – 12 years medium size x 1 with an adjustable lap tray and abduction support
• For functional standing posture and therapeutic use

(c) Dressings and medicine
There are children with bed sores and are dresses twice a day. Most of them are incontinent and we need disposable nappies.
First aid kits are also needed as our learners easily get hurt from falling

Sports

Sports is a rehabilitation to our learners because they participate a lot in ports activities and dancing. We are in need of wheelchair for racing which are also used in dancing as some of our learners are professional dancers. We anticipate that four (4) wheelchair race will do for now.

We are also in short of the following:

• Shot puts 3 x 1kg, 3 x 1.5kg
• Javelin 2 x 500g, 2 x 600g, 2 x 700g
• Mini cricket (set)
• Whistles 2x
• Soccer balls 5x and pump

We would also appreciate the upgrading to our courts as we would like to use these for a multifunctional purpose or for a wheelchair basketball practice and competitions.

Our garden becomes a problem during summer seasons with grass growing tall and thus become difficult to us an ordinary lawn mower. We would appreciate a ride-on type of a lawn mower because of the fact that our ground is too big for a small lawn mower. A fertilizer and a compose for our vegetable garden and a chain saw for cutting tree branches that causes problems on our roofs.

Our school is a boarding school that uses a lot of powder soap for washing our learners clothing as well as toilet papers, hand soap etc. for our learners in the hostel. Our housemothers and groundsman are also in need of overalls, gloves, gumboots and goggles in order to do their work properly.

The school is also short of the following utensils:

• Plates and glasses Dessert bowls
• Salad bowls Spoons and teaspoons
• Cups and sauces Braai forks
• Basting spoons

Bedding : We need duvet covers for ¾ beds ,sheets and pillow covers
